Dr. Ping Bushara BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Ping Bushara draft Biography:

At Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, University of Health Sciences, Ping earned his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (2012 Government full prize scholarship). During his study, Ping was elected to become a mission facilitator in the Oral Implantology department, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology. As well as, He joined many national and international missions contributed by Operation smile Cambodia, Angkor hospital for children, JICA, Cambodia rotary club, and One 2 One Organization. In 2015 He completed his Master degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Faculty of Dentistry, #Mahidol_University (Thailand) under Majesty supported by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn full prize scholarship, followed by a fellowship in oral and maxillafacial cleft at Smile Cambodia cleft center. 

After graduation Dr. Ping practiced in Roomchang Dental Hospital at the same time Dr. Ping Bushara spent his time as a great mentorship to the dental students at the University of Health Sciences and Puthisastra University since 2016, wishing to have a positive influence in Cambodia Dentistry is a blessing.  

Recently, Dr Ping Bushara is the out-standing oral surgeon and dental implant in Royal Phnom Penh Hospital.  

Dr. Ping can speak Khmer, English, Thai, and French. He traveled for continuing education globally (South East Asia,Germany, Japan, Taiwan,....) as participant and speaker. He is also a principle investigator of several scientific research in dental local anesthesia and pain medicine.

Traumatic tooth injury

Traumatic dental injuries often happen of the accident,
The traumatic tooth injury is categorized minor trauma (chipped teeth)  To server trauma (fracture of root and completely   avulsion)
There many  treatment option:
For the minor trauma (chipped teeth), without any vital structure damage, your dentist may have done the restorative composite filling. (such this case shown)
server trauma, you must immediately visit your dentist.
In case of tooth avulsion,  minimize periodontal ligament drying and avoid pulp necrosis. Speed of replantation is important.
Prevent periodontal membrane drying by:
Soak avulsion tooth in the milk, Saline, or saliva. If you receive treatment quickly, preferably within 30 minutes there is a chance to save your tooth.

Odontogenic Residual cyst

Residual cyst are retained peri-apical cyst from teeth that have been removed.
Usually slow grade grow or asymptomatic. It found on routine radiography examination.
